Mustard Seed Training

Materials for praying with children.

Arrived at GED Conference in Minneapolis: Updates to come

Twelve hours of traveling later, I’ve made it safely to the Mall of America. Here it is! Fancy, eh?

Okay, I haven’t gone inside yet. But I’ve already chatted in the hotel shuttle with adult education folks from KET, Alabama, and Idaho who recounted last year’s drama over hotels and shuttles.

I almost didn’t identify myself because I look a little informal in my Reading Rainbow tee shirt, all sweaty from walking circles in the Philadelphia airport during our flight delay. But I recognized the friendly KET folks from COABE so couldn’t resist the chance to latch on to people who actually know where they’re going.

It turned out to be the perfect day wear my Kickstarter swag because Lavar Burton just announced Reading Rainbow will be hitting Netflix on August 1st!! Super excited to have one more way to indoctrinate my kids on 80s culture AND reading at the same time.

So back to adult literacy…that’s all I have to report for now. Better clean up before the networking session this evening. By request, I’ll be reporting in at least daily and may even live tweet some sessions with the hashtag #reachingnewheights and/or the shorter version #adultedu and maybe even #teamleonard.
