Fun Ways to Teach for the New Technology-Enhanced GED® Test Items

Imagine yourself in sunny Radford Virginia at a campus tucked between some lovely rolling hills. Welcome to VAILL, either in person or online!

The GED® Test is now offered exclusively on the computer – at authorized testing centers ONLY! – which allows for a few different item types. Most of the test will still remain multiple choice questions with four options. However, many of the new question types look very similar to tools that students and teachers should use in every classroom: GRAPHS and GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS!

You can download interactive or PDF samples of the GED® Test items for use to study or prepare your students. The same or similar questions are also used in the FREE Practice Test.

Note: The FREE Practice Test is NOT the same as GED Ready™: The Official Practice Test.

In this morning’s session, we will play with some OFFLINE instructional activities that can build the skills required to succeed in these new types of GED® questions.

What activities would you add to the list?

About US

Mustard Seed Training is a team of faith-based artisan creating materials for praying with children. Our ministry is to share the love of God and neighbor.

Our group was founded in 2017 by CGS catechist and woodworker Meagen Farrell. Meagen is also an author, trainer, and PhD student in the fields of adult basic education and educational technology (that’s the “Training” part!).

Thank you for your patience & prayers!

Our goal is to provide you with quality materials and service. Please view our shipping policy and refund policy. We take a scheduled break every year from December 22 (or the last Friday before Christmas) to January 2 (or the first Monday).
