Tutor Tip: Oral Presentation

Oral Presentation
But don’t make a face at your students when they’re presenting!

“Why do you want to pass the GED Test?”
“I want a better job.”
Help your students succeed in our economy by building speaking & presentation skills.

  1. Find a reading that the student enjoys: story, song lyrics, speech, prayer, etc.
  2. Have the student read it aloud to you at the beginning of each class.
  3. Once student achieves fluency & confidence, have him/her read it to a group.
  4. Print the reading on stationary as a reminder of the achievement.
